QPR- DJ Campbell transfer deal done

Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of striker DJ Campbell from Blackpool. Campbell, 29, who hit 13 goals for Blackpool last season, was the subject of interest of several clubs but newly promoted QPR emerged the winners in the race for his signature. The Hoops have paid Blackpool £1.75 million for the striker’s services.
Campbell, whose initials stand for Dudley Junior, is a well travelled man, having represented the likes of Birmingham, Brentford, Leicester and Derby amongst others before his switch to Blackpool.
Campbell could be in line to make his QPR bow next weekend in the Hoops’ Premier League opener against Bolton Wanderers.
