The new Bundesliga season’s first week is complete, and all the three major contenders for the title- Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig, got off to winning starts.

Bayern thrashed Schalke 8:0 while BVB registered an important 3:0 win at home over Borussia Monchengladbach. Leipzig were also comfortable 3:1 winners against Mainz.
