Major League Soccer have revealed that Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo tops the league’s jersey selling chart at the midway point of the 2016 season.
Pirlo overtakes Clint Dempsey, who moves to second. David Villa comes third, with Jordan Morris in fourth. The top ten list is, not surprisingly, mostly made up of players who were in Europe in their prime, with the likes of Gerrard, Lampard, Drogba and Kaka also featuring in it.
