Celtic’s new 2012 away kit has kicked off a storm for being too similar to the Hoops’ home kit. The Celtic 2011/2012 away kit was officially unveiled earlier this week in Glasgow and is one of the two strips released by the SPL champions in addition to the international 2011/2012 away shirt.

The Hoops’ new away kit 2012 contains alternate white and silver grey hoops separated by thin green lines and is quite similar to their home kit.

Celtic have described their away kit 2012 as a modern take on the green hoops.
