Predicted Bayern & Dortmund lineups for German Super Cup 2019

The German Super Cup this year has lost a little bit of sting owing to the mounting injury lists at both the Allianz Arena and the Westfalenstadion, but it nevertheless represents a chance for both teams, especially Dortmund, to lay down a marker ahead of the new season.

BVB have Julian Brandt, Thorgan Hazard, Roman Burki and Mateu Morey unavailable while Lucas Hernandez and Serge Gnabry are both on the sidelines for Bayern.

Here are the predicted lineups for the game, courtesy well known German magazine Kicker.

Bayern are the reigning Super Cup holders, having beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 5:0 in last year’s game, with Robert Lewandowski scoring a hat trick

Eintracht Frankfurt 2:1 Flora Player Ratings| Eintracht progress to third qualifying round UEL

Germany’s solitary club in Europa League action tonight sealed their passage into the next round with a 2:1 win over their opponents. Eintracht Frankfurt, also last year’s EL semi-finalists, took the tie 4:2 on aggregate against their Estonian opponents.

The first leg in Estonia had produced a record attendance for a club game in that country and the Eintracht fans were in full voice for the second leg, with the 48.000 capacity Commerzbank Arena almost filled to the brim.

Both of Eintracht’s goals came from Goncalo Pacencia (37 and 54 pen), while Sinyavskiy netted in the 40th minute for Flora. Pacencia was therefore the pick of the players in the ratings, as seen below.
