Here are the UEFA Europa League (UEL) league phase standings as of December 2025 (after Matchday 6). Both German teams involved in this year’s UEL competition- SC Freiburg and VfB Stuttgart, seem well placed to progress after 6 rounds of the 8 round league phase stage.

Here are the Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo Glimt player ratings from the Bild German newspaper following their 2:2 draw at the Westfalenstadion in midweek.

Bodo Glimt 2 (Aleesami 42, Hauge 75)

Not surprisingly, Brandt’s double gets him a 1 rating from Bild (the best possible one in the German system). Couto has a 2 to his name, with the other BVB starters all getting an average rating including coach Kovac (4)

Arsenal end Bayern’s 100% record

Arsenal ended Bayern Munich’s 100% record this season and inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on Vincent Kompany’s men as they beat them 3-1 on Match Day 5. The fixture at the Emirates was one between the top two teams in the league phase, and it is Arsenal who now remain the competition’s solitary unbeaten team after an excellent win in London.
