Rugby World Cup 2023 Telecast Rights in India- Which TV channel will broadcast RWC 2023 in India?
The 2023 Rugby World Cup kicks off in France later this week with the hosts taking on New Zealand in the tournament opener. It’s been a long wait for Indian rugby fans, but we now have the identity of the RWC TV rights holder in India, and it’s Sony Sports on TV and Fancode online (streaming)
Sony officially unveiled this picture with their upcoming events and it clearly shows RWC 2023, ending weeks of speculation for Indian fans.
This would seem to suggest that RWC 2023 will be telecast live on the Sony Sports channels in India (Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2 etc), with the online streaming rights to be on Fancode.
Fancode is charging INR 69 for a tournament pass to watch the Rugby World Cup online- potentially one of the cheapest ways to watch RWC 2023 online (and legally)
