The Manchester City duo have not been able to find their place under the starting XI of Roberto Mancini and so have decided to try their luck with another club more specifically in Spain.

Santa Cruz has not played for the first squad team of Manchester City since November but Real Betis made a offer for him to reignite his career with a loan deal for a single season.

Slovakian winger Vladimir Weiss is going to be moving to the Spanish club Espanyol under the same conditions as Santa Cruz with a loan deal reported to last a single season.

The defensive duo are expected to be joining Arsenal in the next few days as the only thing left to do is finalize medical tests and complete personal terms.

‘The Gunners’ already agreed with Werder Bremen to make the move for the German centre back with a transfer fee of €9 million while they will also pay €7 million for Andre Santos of Fenerbahce.

Looks like Arsene Wenger is finally making his move in the transfer market for some fresh legs but time is running out and he still needs to make more signings if he wants to compete against the best of the Premier League.

Out of contract midfielder Owen Hargreaves could be set for a shock move to Manchester City after he was pictured leaving Bridgewater Hospital after a medical. Following the embarrassment of losing against Manchester United with the scoreboard displaying 8-2 Arsene Wenger looks ready to add Benayoun to his squad. Benayoun is expected to leave Chelsea and hopes to enter another Premier League squad before this transfer window closes down.

Benayoun failed to make an impact on Chelsea ever since leaving Liverpool with only managing to make 10 appearances with ‘The Blues’. Although some reports are suggesting that he might also be moving to Tottenham as part of a deal involving Luka Modric but still nothing can be confirmed.

Arsenal just suffered their worst loss against Manchester United in their club history after they conceded 8 goals in the most recent Premier League match which saw Arsene Wenger’s team crumble to the ground with the final scoreboard displaying 8-2.

Arsene Wenger was beginning to ask questions on whether or not he is ideal man that should be in charge of Arsenal after selling Fabregas and Samir Nasri without making any real good use of that money and not signing any new players at all.

“You feel humiliated when you concede eight goals,” he told Sky Sports 1. “It was a terrible day for us, it was a combination of an under-strength team and weakness.

They are currently in the 17th spot of the Premier League standings with only 1 point after already having played 3 matches so far.
