Danish Footballer of the Year 2016- Kasper Schmeichel

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been named Danish Footballer of the Year for the second year running. The 30 year old played a pivotal run in the Foxes’ Premiership triumph last year and also played a key role in them getting out of a group that also consisted of Brugge, Porto and Copenhagen.

Schmeichel beat three time winner Christian Eriksen (who won the 2011, 2013 and 2014 awards) and Andreas Christensen to the trophy.
