Bundesliga Team of the Week (Round 25) 2024-2025 season

Another week (GW25) of the Bundesliga was completed, and somewhat surprisingly, it was a week where none of the home teams managed a win.

Even the likes of Bayern Munich and Leverkusen were unable to get results, with the former slumping to a shock 3:2 loss at home to Bochum and the latter going down 2:0 to Werder Bremen.

Not surprisingly, Bochum’s stunning result saw them get quite a few entries in the team of the week for MD25 from both reputed German outlets Kicker and Bild.

Here is a look at the Bochum vs BVB player ratings from their Match Day 22 clash on February 15, 2025. Borussia Dortmund had played well in midweek against Sporting CP, but inexplicably crashed to a 2:0 defeat here against bottom of the table Bochum, making Niko Kovac the first BVB manager to lose his first two Bundesliga games since Friedhelm Konietzka back in 1984.

Sporting BVB 2025 Player Ratings | SCP Borussia Dortmund 0:3 UCL First Leg

Here are the Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund player ratings from the first leg of their Champions League Playoff tie. BVB put in a vastly improved performance from their weekend loss against VfB Stuttgart, and claimed a vital 3:0 away win here.

Bild player ratings Sporting Borussia Dortmund 0:3 (1 very good, 6 very bad)

Bild had Guirassy as one of the worst players against Stuttgart, but he was the pick of the players here with a 2 rating.

The lowest player rating went to Sporting Lisbon’s Fresneda, who got a 5 from Bild.
