Kiel Borussia Dortmund 4:2 Player Ratings 2025 | Shocker for BVB at KSV Holstein!

The midweek round of Bundesliga fixtures produced an upset on the Baltic Sea, with KSV Holstein Kiel upsetting Borussia Dortmund 4:2 on January 14, 2025.

Here are the KSV vs Dortmund player ratings from German newspaper Bild. 6 is the lowest player rating possible under the German system, and as you can see here, several of Borussia Dortmund’s players and their coach Nuri Sahin have been given that number for their performance against Kiel.

Three Holstein Kiel players- Bernhardsson, Machino and Harres, got the best 1 player rating against Dortmund.

Borussia Monchengladbach Bayern Munich 0:1 Player Ratings 2025 | Moritz Nicolas shines for MGB

Gladbach went down 1:0 to FC Bayern Munchen over the weekend, and here are the MGB vs FCB player ratings from German newspaper Bild.

It was a great outing for BMG keeper Moritz Nicolas despite the defeat for the home side- he was the highest rated player (1 is the best rating in the German system) on either side.

No Bayern player got that 1 rating, although two others- Olise and Kimmich, came close with a 2 each.

Both Nicolas and Olise were also named in Kicker’s Team of the Week

Here is the look at the 2024/25 last season Bundesliga table as it stood at the time of the German league’s winter break in December 2024. These are therefore also the Bundesliga standings at Christmas 2024.

The Bundesliga is a 34 game season, but the winter break in the 24/25 season was taken after 15 games (MD15) on 22 December 2024, with the league resuming on 10 January 2025.

Defending champions Bayer Leverkusen were 4 points behind leaders Bayern Munich in the table at Xmas 2024.

Holstein Kiel and Bochum were in the relegation zone in December with Heidenheim in the playoff/relegation spot.
