Here are the Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund player ratings from the first leg of their Champions League Playoff tie. BVB put in a vastly improved performance from their weekend loss against VfB Stuttgart, and claimed a vital 3:0 away win here.

Bild had Guirassy as one of the worst players against Stuttgart, but he was the pick of the players here with a 2 rating.

The lowest player rating went to Sporting Lisbon’s Fresneda, who got a 5 from Bild.

Bayern Munich Slovan Bratislava 3:1 Player Ratings 2025 Champions League | Pavlovic, Kimmich shine

FC Bayern beat Slovan Bratislava 3:1 in their final league phase UCL game. The result means that Bayern finish 12th in the Champions League group phase standings (outside the 8 automatic qualification spots) and will play either Manchester City or Glasgow Celtic in the playoffs.

These Bayern vs Slovan player ratings are from the Kicker Magazine (1 very good, 6 very bad in the German rating system). It has Joshua Kimmich as the pick of the Bayern players with a 1.5 rating.

Bayern’s goals on the evening came from Thomas Muller, Harry Kane and Kingsley Coman

Borussia Dortmund Shakhtar Donetsk 3:1 Player Ratings 2025 | BVB win in crucial UCL game

Borussia Dortmund finished ahead of the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the UCL standings as they finished their league phase engagements with a 3:1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

Here are the player ratings for BVB vs Shakhtar from L’Equipe (1 very bad, 10 very good). Guirassy was the best Dortmund player against Shakhtar with rating of 8, while Donetsk’s Pedrinho was the poorest player (rating of 2/10)

Dortmund eventually finished 10th in the 24 team league, narrowly missing out on an automatic Round of 16 spot (which goes to teams 1-8). BVB will now have to go through the playoffs but will be seeded for this clash by virtue of their 10th place finish.
