Europa League Table December 2025 (after 6 games)- SCF & VfB look to progress from league phase

Here are the UEFA Europa League (UEL) league phase standings as of December 2025 (after Matchday 6). Both German teams involved in this year’s UEL competition- SC Freiburg and VfB Stuttgart, seem well placed to progress after 6 rounds of the 8 round league phase stage.

SC Freiburg and Real Betis are the only two unbeaten teams in the UEL league phase after Week 6 (December 2025)

Europa League Table December 2025

Freiburg are 5th in the table currently and are already guaranteed of progress from the UEL league stage (playoffs are guaranteed for them, but they’d look to progress directly to the Round of 16). SCF are also the only unbeaten team from Germany in European competition (Champs League, Europa and Conference League) as of December 2025 (Bayern were beaten by Arsenal in MD5 of the UCL)

Stuttgart are 9th in the table, just outside the automatic qualification zone.

Both SC Freiburg (1:0 v Salzburg) and VfB Stuttgart (4:1 v Maccabi) registered victories on MD6.

Freiburg will play Maccabi Tel Aviv in Round 7 next month while Stuttgart have a tougher task in the form of an away trip to AS Roma. MTA, as mentioned above, lost 4:1 to Stuttgart in Week 6.

OGC Nice are the only team to have lost all their games so far in the UEL (MD6)
