Here is a look at the Bundesliga team of the week for Matchday 27 (Game Week 27) from German media outlets Bild and Kicker following another weekend of league action.
Five of the nine games produced home wins, with three ending in victories for the away side and one game- Hoffenheim v Augsburg, ending in a draw.
Borussia Monchengladbach were the big gainers in MW27, with their 1:0 win over Leipzig and Freiburg’s 2:1 loss to Union catapulting MGB over RB and SCF in the league table.

Kicker Team of the Week (Round 27 of 2024/25 season)
Kicker’s team of the week for GW27 features three players from Borussia Dortmund- defenders Nico Schlotterbeck and Emre Can, and young forward Maximilian Beier.
Schlotterbeck made two assists against Mainz in BVB’s 3:1 win, while Can and Beier netted the game’s three goals between them.
Bayern have two representatives in the the TOTW in the form of wingers Leroy Sane and Michael Olise.
Sane and Olise are also in Bild’s Team of the Week for Week 27. There are five players common between the two teams, with Schlotterbeck, Itakura and Beier the other three in the XI (apart from Sane and Olise)
