Tottenham Closer On Getting Lago Falque From Juventus

According to the Spanish media Lago Falque will be making a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur on the upcoming season.

Although the original intentions of Tottenham were to sign Falque on a permanent deal, Juventus said that would not be possible and so the only option left is to sign him on a season loan contract. Not only Spurs were interested in signing the winger but also a number of Spanish clubs including: Celta Vigo, Levante, and Rayo Vallecano but from the looks of it he will be moving on a temporarily basis to Tottenham.

Porto Reject Chelsea’s Bid For Alvaro Perreira

Chelsea’s coach Andre Villas-Boas has announced to the media that they have made a offer for Porto’s Uruguayan wingback Alvaro Pereira. But the Dragons have rejected the Blues’ initial bid.

Porto’s president Pinto Da Costa said that it did not even take them 30 seconds to respond to the bid made by the Premier League team. With English reports emerging claiming that the initial offer was €18m it was a easy decision for Porto to make concerning their Left-back player Alvaro Pereira which they are not letting go for anything less than €30 million.

Chelsea are however expected to come up with an improved bid in the next few days.
