Toffees Chase £6MILLION Spurs Star

Everton are thought to be planning a £6million move for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone in the January transfer window.

The Sun understands that Toffees’ boss David Moyes was keen to land the England under 21 international in the summer as a replacement for Lee Carsley, who secured a move to Birmingham City.

However, Huddlestone chose to remain at White Hart Lane, signing a new five-year deal worth £40,000 a week. But having started just one game so far this season under Juande Ramos, the 21-year-old may be forced to look elsewhere for regular football.
