Ghana international Micheal Essien has agreed a new £20 million deal at Chelsea that will extend his stay at Stamford Bridge to 2013.
Essien received a new deal with improved terms and that cuts out reports linking him with a reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.
