Spurs Berbatov The Apple Of MANY Teams Eye

Posted on 02. Sep, 2008 by Milox in Premiership

Dimitar Berbatov is believed be holding talks with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson about a possible move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been favourites to land the Spurs striker all summer.

However, reports have surfaced today suggesting that Manchester City are set to steal in front of their bitter rivals having had their own £30million-plus offer accepted for the Bulgarian.

City boss Mark Hughes told Sky Sports News that he hopes to meet Berbatov later in the day.

But Ferguson is already to be in talks with the forward at the club’s Carrington training ground.

Yet another twist in the race for the player’s signature could be the late emergence of Real Madrid.

Reports from Spain are suggesting that the La Liga champions are lining up a £36.5million bid of their own for the sought-after forward.

What in the name of God is the matter with our Chairman if these stories are true.If Berbatov went to Old Trafford or their training ground without the permission of the board he works for then he is in breach of contract and should be so heavely find by the club thet he will think it over several times before he does it again. We have been told that he had no permission to go to United. Is anything going to be done about it? The man has walked all over the club with the help of a certain team manager who it seems thinks that he is above the law. Please Mr Chairman do something concrete about it. You are using supporters hard earned money to keep the club afloat so please repay them accordingly
