Spurs Berbatov Holding Out For Barca Move

Unsettled Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov would prefer a move to Barcelona over Manchester United, reports emanating from Spain are suggesting.
The Bulgaria international is keen to join a top European side after two successful seasons at White Hart Lane, and giants Barca and United are leading the chase for his signature.
The Red Devils have been favourites to land the 27-year-old all summer, although they now appear reluctant to meet Tottenham’s huge £30million valuation of the player.
Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola meanwhile, having missed out on Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor and Chelsea’s Didier Drogba, has made the striker his top target.
And the Catalan club, after sounding out Berbatov’s plans, will be delighted to discover that the Nou Camp would be his preferred destination.
“If I leave Tottenham, I prefer going to Barca than Manchester United,” he told the Catalan giants, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Guardiola is thought to be willing to offer Spurs in the region of £27million for the talented forward.
