Ronaldo agent in talks with Barcelona

Barcelona directors Txiki Begiristain and Marc Ingla are in Lisbon today for talks with the agent of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

DiarioSport says along with discussions about Mendes’ Barca players Deco and Rafael Marquez, Begiristain and Ingla will also raise the prospect of taking Ronaldo to Spain at the end of the season.

Barca’s board are putting aside £70 million to overhaul Frank Rijkaard’s flagging squad and a priority is signing a new Galactico to inspire fans in the same way Ronaldinho did almost five years ago.
