After FIFA decided not to intervene in the case of Real Madrid pursuing Cristiano Ronaldo, new reports are saying they are putting together a huge £50m offer for his services.
Ronaldo is still saying that he is only focused on his Portugal team advancing in the Euro 2008 tournament. Sounding a little angry about the constant speculation, and questions, Ronaldo responded to more inquiries about his future at a Euro press conference.
"I don't want to talk about my future," said Ronaldo, who has supposedly always dreamed about playing for Real Madrid. "I have already said several times that I would not discuss my club future during the Euro. At the moment I am only concentrating on the match against Germany."
One reporter even asked whether Ronaldo preferred "paella or chips?" He responded by saying "bacalhau", a common fish dish in Portugal.
A close friend speaking with 'The Mirror' chimed in with his prediction for Ronaldo's future.
"Ronaldo has made up his mind up now and feels it is just time to wait before he announces what he will do - which is to go to Madrid,"
"The announcement about Cristiano's future will be the next step, but it won't happen until the end of Euro 2008 for him and Portugal.
"The decision has been made and now it's a case of everybody getting in position for the future, even if United aren't ready to sit down and talk to Real."
Manchester United are not going to lay down and let Cristiano go, even if the £50m offer does come so this should be a very interesting finish after the Euro tournament ends at the end of this month.

You know whatI used to think of ronaldo07 as my hero. Lately I havent been so sure. Who in their right mind would go to Real Madrid when they have got United!! I am truly disappointed
