It has been reported that young french international, Samir Nasri, will sign with the gunners in the next "few days". But doesn't this seem like something that has been reiterated throughout the whole summer? And where is he going to be when the 2008/09 campaign starts?
The young frenchman has been involved in one of the longest transfer sagas known to date, but has recently been overshadowed by the imminent departure of Emmanuel Adebayor and latest outburst by playmaker Alexander Hleb.
Nasri's personal website revealed that in the coming season he would part company with Olympic Marseille and become an Arsenal player. However the statement had been quickly withdrawn, and nothing more has been published on the matter regarding advances in transfer.
One things for certain, Nasri can't possibly return to the Olympic Marseille changing room after all thats gone on. Especially since fellow frenchman Hatem Ben Arfa has seemingly taken his place with the french outfit and is pictured wearing number 22 (previously worn by Nasri). Though this may not be his published number kind of confusing isn't it?
So are you confident that Nasri will sign for the gunners shortly? What's the reason behind the long wait? Do you think he is worth all this trouble? If/when he signs will he be the key in igniting the gunners title charge, or is this long awaited aquisition a huge waste of time?

Nasri’s agent said that he is on holiday now, and they will decide in 10 days. He said that last Friday.
