Russian star Andrei Arshavin's merry-go-round of speculation has taken a huge twist, and involves another team from North London as the beneficiaries. The tricky Russian has been linked with Arsenal and supposedly Barcelona, as they were the player's 'dream club'.

Reports claim that Tottenham have confirmed interest in the play-maker, who recently starred for Zenit St Petersburg in a 0-0 draw versus CSKA Moscow.

The Guardian claim that Tottenham should have a deal tied up within the next 5 days. Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has ordered a massive clear-out which has seen star players, Paul robinson and Robbie Keane, move away from White Hart Lane. The exodus, of players, has cleared the way for a flurry of world class signings, Giovanni Dos Santos, Luka Modric, Gomes, and soon ex-gunner David Bentley and Andrei Arshavin may join.
