Barcelona star Yaya Toure has confirmed speculation that Arsenal were looking to sign him this summer.
The Gunners had been heavily linked with the Ivory Coast international after losing Mathieu Flamini to AC Milan, but he told both manager Arsene Wenger and his brother Kolo that he was happy at the Nou Camp.
“Wenger, as well as my brother told me to join Arsenal during the summer, but I answered them that I was happy at Barcelona," Toure told RAC-1.
