Congolese forward Tresor Mputu still harbours dreams of securing a move to Arsenal despite completing a trial with the Emirates side over a year ago.

Arsene Wenger ran the rule over the 22-year-old striker but chose not to pursue his interest in the player. But Mputu is determined to return to North London after what he considered to be a successful trial.

The TP Mazembe player said: “I loved it at Arsenal and my club president is ready to let me go.”
