Spurs captain Ledley King will travel with the squad to Poland to face Wisla Krakow in the second leg of their UEFA Cup tie.

The news will come as a major boost to under fire boss Juande Ramos, who, reports claim, has four games to save his job.

King, who has endured a torrid two seasons with injuries, is unable to play twice in the space of a few days as he recovers from knee surgery, which has kept him out of several games already this season.

The 27-year-old sat out the final two months of last season to undergo rehabilitation, although he is still being used sparingly by Ramos for fear of over-exerting him.

But the Spaniard will be grateful to have his most influential player back in the side to face their Polish opponents on Thursday, as progression to the next round in Europe could trigger a run of results that will steep Spurs' season back on course.
