Spurs' supporters are blaming sporting director Damien Comolli for the club's dreadful start to the season.

Despite spending almost £70million on players this summer the north Londoners have made their worst league start in 53 years.

And with their side currently sitting bottom of the Premier League with just two points from their opening six game, Tottenham fans have questioned the clubs inability to replace star strikers Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov.

Daniel Wynne of the Tottenham Supporters’ Trust told the Sun: “The board did well to get £30m for Dimitar Berbatov.

"What is inexcusable is that the sporting director failed to get someone in to replace him.

“Criticism of Comolli is warranted. The buck has to stop somewhere.”
