Juande Ramos has denied reports linking Dimitar Berbatov with a move to Barcelona, insisting he has not been contacted by the Catalan club.
The Spurs striker's future has been the subject of much speculation over the summer months, and it was widely expected that he would sign for Manchester United. But there has been no movement from Old Trafford recently, and reports emerged in the media suggesting that Barca had entered the race for the Bulgarian, although Ramos insists he is in the dark.
"Nobody from Barça has asked me about Berbatov," said the Spaniard. "There has been no movement on that front. All I know is what I read in the papers.
"We will have to wait and see what happens. It is a question of waiting a bit more and then we will see how things turn out.
"All I can say about that is that I know nothing about it either. We have a list of forwards and we are working on that, not on what journalists or agents are saying.
"Many things have been said and half of them are just not true. The representatives are doing their job at this stage."
