Luiz Felipe Scolari claims to be the new "Special One".
During his first press conference as Chelsea manager, shown on Sky Sports News, he joked "I am speical for my friends, for my family, for my country". So he definitely fits the bill in terms of witty remarks and fluent English and Portugese, but can he really emulate the mark set down by Mourinho. With Chelsea the only trophy to escape his grasp was the Champions League.
Similarly like Mourinho, with his aquisition of Portugese internationals Carvalho and Ferreira, Felipe has brought in reinforcements of his own with the signings of £16.8m Boswinga and £8m Deco.
Only time will tell if Big Phil can lead Chelsea to Premiership or Champions League glory. Only time will tell if Scolari can impose his authority on Chelsea and his brand of football that lead Brazil to the 2002 World Cup. Time will tell if he will end up rivalling Red Rom the same way Jose did. Scolari certainly demands respect, and has bags of experience under his belt with a wealth of trophies and titles on his CV.
So if he were to go against Roman Abramovich's wishes and cross the same boundaries as his predecessor then only one conclusion is certainly likely.
Do you feel Scolari will be as effective as Jose? Has he the same credentials or is he better than the now Inter Milan manager? Will Scolari feel belitted by the imposing of mega-rich Roman? Do you feel that Felipe is a new Jose?

New Jose? No.
Scolari is better to his players, to the club and to the fans no messing around, 100%commited to his players and club not just trophies.
First season Scolari will see what the premier league is all about, not many signings just crucial ones, after that depending on how Roman is feeling he will be Brilliant.
Inter will be lucky to win anything, Maybe the Scudetto.
