Tottenham are reportedly tracking Almeria striker Alvaro Negredo.

'Sport' claim Spurs boss Juande Ramos is a keen admirer of the 23-year-old Spaniard, as the club desperately try to reinforce their forward line following the summer departures of Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov to Liverpool and Manchester United respectively.

Negredo has an impressive scoring record, having found the net 18 times in 43 games for Almeria, while he also managed a goal every three games for Real Madrid Castilla.
