Tottenham's new striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has expressed his delight that he wont be partnering Dimitar Berbatov at White Hart Lane this season.
The Just as Russian frontman Pavlyuchenko jetted in to agree a £13.8million move to White Hart Lane, Sulking Bulgarian Berbatov completed his drawn out move to Manchester United.
In fact the former Spartak Moscow striker is just happy to see the competition for places at spurs being reduced.
He said: “I can’t really say anything about Berbatov leaving. Let them all go then I’ll play. It’s good for me!
“I’ve talked to Juande Ramos. He’s a nice man. He said he’s going to rely upon me. He played quite a big role in my transfer.”

Wow!! This is BIG Talk indeed by someone who hasn’t even scored 1 goal in the EPL. And on someone who has proven himself on both the world’s football stage and more imptly the EPL! Let’s hope Pav can really quickly settle down and make his mark where it counts - on the football fields of the EPL. A sober reminder to him is that if he is as good as he thinks he is, that he would have been long sought after and targetted by many more other BIG Clubs. Also his transfer cost (abt a third of Berb??) is probably an indication of what he is deemed worth… about a third of Berb!!
