Manchester United chief David Gill is expected to sign off on a £17 million deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves today.
The England midfielder, who saw Bayern block the move last August and again in the January transfer window, will put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £55,000 a week.
Hargreaves, 26, spent yesterday at United's Carrington training ground and underwent a medical. He must await Gill's return from a meeting in Malaysia this morning before completing his transfer.
