Manchester City Football Club have been linked with a shock move for Jermaine Jenas.
Sven Goran Eriksson is a big fan of the former Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United midfielder, and he selected him as part of his World Cup squad in 2006 when he was coach of England.
Jenas has emerged as a key member of Juande Ramos’s side since the Spaniard arrived at Tottenham Hotspur, and the White Hart Lane club would be reluctant to part company with him.
Spurs paid a total of £9million when they signed the 25-year-old from St James Park, and reports suggest City are willing to pay the Londoners a fee of £12million to take him to Eastlands.
Interestingly, a report in The People on Sunday claimed that Jenas has placed his North London property on the market and has told his Estate Agent that he is not looking to stay in the capital.

Jenas cost £7m when he signed from Newcastle. It was published in the Newcastle accounts. £3m in the first year, followed by 2 payments of £2m in subsequent years. If you are going to print this rubbish please take the trouble to do at least the minimal research.
