Premiership clubs are monitoring Thierry Henry's situation at Barcelona.

Villarreal midfielder Robert Pires admitted this week that his former Arsenal teammate was unhappy at Barca.

The Sun says Henry's unrest is likely to trigger a wave of interest in Europe's top clubs - including the Premier League's big guns.

However, there is no way he would return to Arsenal where he is regarded as a legend - because boss Arsene Wenger has moved on and is rebuilding his team around strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie.

Henry cost Barcelona £16million when he was sold by Arsenal last summer.

The Frenchman was linked with Liverpool earlier this season.
