Wel, that to me would b d worst blander cos if Drogba left, the “strong” attack of Chelsea would be gone. I watched a match recently from the Brazilian league and trust me, Adriano is no where close to a replacement for Chelsea unless Avram Grant is not serious and wants to be fired.

Drogba is worth more than this implies & I suspect that, as with Robben last season, they will hold out to get the best offer. In cash I believe he is worth every penny of the £24m Chelsea paid for him so I dont see them giving him away for Adriano.
I’ve heard that Chelsea will not sell Drogs on the cheap. We will only sell at the right price and if the right price isn’t offered, we will keep him because he is under contract. 7m and Adriano is certainly not the right price !
I can’t imagine why Chelsea wouldn’t want an overweight guy who seems to be already past it in his mid-twenties. The additional £7m seems almost pointless. A proven goalscorer in the Premiership swapped for an overhyped chubber. Bargain.
