Media reports have once again linked Tottenham with a move for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Daily Mail claims that the Cameroon frontman is still attracting interest from Spurs and London rivals Chelsea, as Spanish giants look to raise funds to secure their own transfer targets.

Juande Ramos is reported to be a long-time admirer of Eto'o, and could make a move for the striker with Robbie Keane having already moved to Liverpool, and Dimitar Berbatov still being linked with a transfer away from White Hart Lane.

The Sun also quote Barcelona director of football Txiki Begiristain claiming that Eto'o maybe allowed to leave the Nou Camp with in the next week.

He said: "The days are going by and the market is closing.

"If there is a decision on Eto'o, the best thing would be for it to be made before the Champions League qualifiers on August 12. We're in the process of looking at how everyone reacts, above all how the manager is with the group and with the player."
