Bolton's El-Hadji Diouf could be set to leave the Reebok Stadium for Marseille for upwards of £4m, but the Senegal international would prefer to stay in the Premier League, according to reports in today's Manchester Evening News.

However, the former European Cup winners could be an appealing prospect for French speaker Diouf, who made his name with RC Lens.

Talks have been ongoing to keep Jussi Jaaskelainen and Ricardo Gardner at the Reebok.

The pair will soon be out of contract though manager Gary Megson has expressed an intent to offer them new terms.
