ARSENAL have reportedly targeted Italian pair Vincenzo Iaquinta and Daniele De Rossi as Arsene Wenger bids to add some established stars to his young line-up.
Juventus striker Iaquinta, 28, and Roma midfielder De Rossi, 25, are the first potential signings of an alleged new transfer policy adopted by Wenger, according to the Mirror.
The Frenchman is understood to be keen on bringing in several experienced players to complement his emerging young stars, and he has turned his gaze to Italy for reinforcements during the January transfer window.
Iaquinta has played a number of games for his country, while De Rossi has made over 40 appearances for the Azzurri and would provide some stability to the Gunners' midfield.
