F.C. Barcelona handed out a thrashing to Levante who are trying to refrain from going down as Thierry Henry finally showed all Barca fans, why he is such an asset to the team.He opened his league account for the Catalan club at long last and Lionel Messi, the Argentinian phenomenon continued to elevate his club status.
The two goals that resulted from the brilliance of Messi and Henry were a sheer delight to watch. Messi scored his first goal, due to a blundering Levante defender, and his shot was impeccable.
A few minutes later, Messi found a roving Henry and fed him a through ball which Henry slotted home true to his nature.
The only downside for the club was the poor performance of the once stellar Frenchman Lillian Thuram.
