Barca may turn their attention to Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov after reportedly losing interest in Emmanuel Adebayor, according to the Daily Mail.

Arsenal's stubbornness over their £35million valuation of the Togolese striker appears to have finally caused the Catalan giants to look elsewhere.

And according to the Mail, they will shift their gaze across North London to the Gunners' bitter rivals Spurs, where Bulgarian forward Berbatov looks set to be on his way.

Manchester United are understood to be quietly confident of landing Berbatov, having already lodged a bid in the region of £20million-plus. But they will have to up that figure if Barcelona come calling, as new coach Pep Guardiola is desperate to add some extra firepower to his side.
