As everyone already knows by now, Arsenal has reduced their asking price for Emmanuel Adebayor, which now means his move to AC Milan could be back on.

AC Milan agent Vincenzo Morabito claims the Gunners have almost halved the price for the 24-year-old, which was initially set at £35 million.

"We're working to make the deal easier," Morabito said.

"We're arriving at more reasonable figures. They're still a lot, but much less than the €45million that were initially asked for."

"A bit more than half. More than that of Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba but they are a little bit older."

On June 13th, the Arsenal stated that the player would not be sold, but Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed that Arsenal have since written to him and changed their stance.

Galliani said: "I have a letter from Arsenal that says 'we will consider a deal if it still interests you'."

Barcelona also believed they had a shot at Adebayor, who scored 30 goals in 48 games last season, and if Barca wants him, they can probably have him.

Galliani added: "If Adebayor decides to leave, Milan definitely want him but it is clear that if an offer arrives from Barcelona it would be difficult for him to say no."
