Ivory Coast star Gervais Gervinho Yao Kouassi has pleaded with Arsenal to make is dream move to the Emirates come true.
The 21-year-old striker - who is also known as Gervinho - caught the eye while playing for Le Mans in his first season in Ligue 1.
Now he says he is desperate to quit the French outfit and seal a move to the Premier League with the Gunners.
“I need to keep working at Le Mans and Arsenal will open the door for me,” Gervinho, who captained his country’s Olympic team in Beijing, told skysportsnews.com.
“I have dreamed about that club. To play for Arsenal will be the best day of my life and I will do anything to play for that team.”
Gervinho added that the Gunners young, stylish methods is what most attracts him to the club.
“It is their game, the freedom the manager gives them to express their qualities,” he said.
“They are all young players and out of all the top European clubs they are the only ones who work like this. I really love that.”
