Gunners May Pick Up Euro STAR!

ZENIT St Petersburg forward Andrei Arshavin could be on his way to Arsenal after the Russian’s agent confirmed that the club were in negotiations with one of England’s ‘Big Four’ about a possible deal.
Arsene Wenger was linked with a move for Euro 2008 star Arshavin over the summer but interest dwindled and the the 27-year-old looked set to complete a move to their North London rivals Tottenham.
However, a fee was not agreed with the Russian club and the move broke down.
But the saga has taken another twist, as the player’s agent Denis Lachter insists his client would no longer consider a move to White Hart Lane, but is in negotiations with one of England’s Champions League clubs over a £23.8 million transfer.
“Andrei would like to play in the Premier League but he will not accept an offer from clubs like Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa,” Lachter told the Daily Telegraph.
“There are only four British clubs he would play for and they are in the Champions League. It’s not about money – it’s about a team and professional ambition.
“Zenit is negotiating with several clubs. We are now waiting for a phone call from Zenit president Alexander Dyukov to allow us to negotiate his personal terms with one of them.
“It’s most likely he will be heading for England.
“It’s going to be a very big transfer. Zenit will definitely not accept an offer of less than €30 million (£23.8 million). They are owned by Gazprom, who are one of the biggest oil companies in the world, so they can afford not to sell him cheaply.”

He is too costly and not good enough to play for Arsenal. Although he’s probably better than Adebaywhore.
Look at Pavluyochenko and Jo, they’ve really set the Prem on fire haven’t they? lol
