Former Gunner Edu Won’t Be Going To Tottenham

Tottenham target Edu has revealed he has rejected offers from the Premiership.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a number of English clubs throughout the summer, but the former Arsenal man has expressed a desire to stay at Mestalla.

“I received some offers over the summer, above all from England, because people knew I had recovered, but I want to stay with Valencia and to have a good season and be a success here,” he told AS.

“I don’t want to think about anything other than Valencia. I took care of myself during the holiday and I’m looking forward to what will be a very important season for me.”

However the Brazillian has conceded that he may be forced out of the Club, should Valencia receive an offer that they feel is too good to turn down.

“The club has decided to treat nearly all the players the same. If an offer comes in then Valenica are going to listen to. The club’s financial situation is not the best and it is normal that they would see what is on offer,” he continued.

Since moving from Arsenal, Edu has only managed 16 appearances for the Spanish side, after a string of injuries which have hampered his first team opportunities.

What BS, I don’t see anything in the quote that mentions Tottenham, utter rubbish. Ramos and Levy would not be interested in this Arsenal reject.
