Colombia international Radamel Falcao has revealed that the Gunners are interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old is currently on the books of Argentine club River Plate, with a fee of £8million believed to be enough for his signature.

The striker told The Sun: “I know there is interest from Arsenal and that excites me.

“If there is an agreement between the clubs I’m ready to go. It would mean a huge leap forward in my career.

“I can guarantee my financial future. The Premier League is sensational.”

The former Millonarios trainee made seven appearances for the Colombian national team, scoring two goals in the process.
