Nolberto Solano is on the verge of completing a move to join David Beckham at LA Galaxy, according to the player’s agent.
The 33-year-old, who was released by West Ham boss Alan Curbishley at the end of last season, has already held talks with Galaxy club boss Ruud Gullit.
And his agent, Phil Smith, admits a deal looks to be on the cards.
“Nolberto is not against moving to the United States league, where there’s genuine interest from Los Angeles Galaxy,” Smith told Sports Ya.
“We’ve already held talks with Ruud Gullit and everything seems to be going well.”
The Peruvian established himself as a fans favourite during his one season at Upton Park, scoring four goals in 23 appearances for the Hammers after moving on a free transfer from Newcastle United.
