Spurs have been given the green-light to sign Spanish super star David Villa.
According to media reports Valencia are looking to cash-in on Villa to ease their financial worries.
Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is thought to be in the market for a top striker, with frontman Robbie Keane appearing to be on the verge of joining Liverpool.
And while Villa appeared to be on the verge of joining Real Madrid in an £31.5million deal, but the players agent has urged Spurs to enter the running as well.
Jose Luis Tamargo said: “Many clubs have contacted me about the chances of a player who is guaranteed to score goals in England…But I am convinced if Spurs present an offer, Valencia will study the subject.”
“David likes London and likes how Tottenham play with Juande Ramos. This is a club that excites him.”
Valencia president Vicente Soriano also hinted on Friday that the Spanish outfit could be looking to sell Villa.
He said: “We cannot assure people that we will not have to sell one of our stars.”

Why would he change his mind after supposivly say Spurs were not the club for him why the change of heart !! and why has Real Madrid not carried through with their threat of signing the deadly Pistolero !! can Madrid be leaving the way clear for Spurs to hopefully sign him (Villa) and thus have a gentleman`s aggreement for Madrid to get Berbatov and crap in the eye`s of old purple nose because of the Ronaldo thing (I`am all for that ) but let us have nistlerooy for a reasonable fee ie he`s 33 and we would get only a few year`s out of him , but keep Bent as well !!!!!!
