Chelsea bid a stunning £35M for Liverpool superstar Torres

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has sensationally failed with an opening £35 million bid for Liverpool ace Fernando Torres.

Radio Marca says Abramovich made the amazing offer in a quickfire bid which also included Torres’ agents being tabled personal terms on a par with Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract.

The proposal, however, received short shrift from Liverpool chiefs, but a fresh attempt from Abramovich cannot be ruled out.
