Bullard ready for massive game

Jimmy Bullard has described Sunday’s clash with Portsmouth as the biggest game of his career.
Fulham were marooned for much of the season, but they have pulled themselves out of the drop zone with one game remaining.
Bullard has been like a talisman for Fulham since returning from serious injury and he is aware of the size of the task facing his side.
“Everyone was putting us as favouirtes to go down and all of a sudden we pull ourselves out of that relegation spot and it’s in our hands,” Bullard told Setanta Sports’ Friday Football Show.
“It is a massive game and probably the biggest game that I have ever played in.”
Bullard says the players will soak up all the pre-game wisdom of manager Roy Hodgson.
He added: “The gaffer has experience and has probably been in this situation before, so with his experience we are going to use that and take it on Sunday.”
Portsmouth have an FA Cup final to focus on, but Bullard feels it would be foolish to expect Harry Redknapp’s players to be in cruise control on Sunday.
“Every tackle and pass is going to be key, so we go into it giving 100 percent,” said the midfielder. “We can’t think that they have got a cup final and are not going to go into challenges, because if you think that then you are going to lose one and it could be the one that costs you a goal.”
