Barca Still Interested In Spurs Target Arshavin

Barcelona are thought to have re-entered the race for Zenit St Petersburg playmaker Andrei Arshavin.
Tottenham remain the favourites to land Russia’s Euro 2008 hero but after Valencia’s David Silva signed a new contract with the club, it is understood that the Catalan club could yet make a late bid for the player.
Arshavin has made it no secret that his ultimate dream is to play for Barca, but after their interest waned, he has since underlined his desire to join Juande Ramos at Spurs, who it is thought called the player to convince him that a move to White Hart Lane would be a good one.
